It is not the ultimate goal of human evolution or the culmination of the Instrumentality Project; rather, the Instrumentality Project aims to merge all souls into a single being (LCL), a state more directly associated with the Tree of Knowledge or the 'God's in His Heaven' concept. The Tree of Life symbolizes divine order and the structure of creation, not the dissolution of individuality.
